Location: Maundo, Uganda

Steven’s father died suddenly of unknown causes in 2019. His mother, who relied on her husband’s income to provide for the family, has not been able to recover from this loss. She continues to struggle to care for Steven and his two siblings. Steven is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to begin his education when he is old enough. He is a healthy, joyful boy.

Steven lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
