While Shadrack’s father is still living, he is not able to care for the family due to mental illness, and his mother has no source of income and struggles to provide for Shadrack and his 2 siblings. Thankfully, Shadrack is a healthy boy and has been able to remain in school in spite of financial challenges. He is currently performing well in 7th grade at a local primary school.

Shadrack lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
