Presence’s father died in 2024 after suffering from stomach pains. This left Presence in the sole care of her mother, who struggles to provide for her. Both Presence and her mother are in good health. Presence is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where she will receive a quality Christian education at one of our partner schools.
Presence lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
