Joseph’s father died of unknown causes in 2024. This left him in the sole care of his mother who struggles with injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Thankfully, Joseph is a healthy boy and he has been able to remain in school. He is currently in fourth grade, and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where he will receive a quality Christian education at one of our partner schools.

Joseph lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
