Patricia’s father died of unknown causes, following a brief illness. Sadly, her mother later remarried and abandoned Patricia and her five siblings. The children are all now in the care of their grandmother. Thankfully, Patricia has been able to remain in school in spite of financial challenges. She is performing well in the 4th grade at a local primary school. She is a healthy girl, which is a blessing.

Patricia lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda. Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
