Location: Ndola, Zambia
Nelly’s father died of perforated intestines in 2020. This left Nelly in the sole care of her mother. Thankfully, Nelly and her mother are both in good health. Nelly is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School.
Nelly lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
