Location: Ndola, Zambia

Gershom lost his father to liver disease in 2024, leaving him in the sole care of his mother who struggles to provide for him. Thankfully, Gershom is a healthy boy and he has been able to remain in school. He is currently in fifth grade and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where he will receive a quality Christian education at one of our school partners.

Gershom lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
