Naomi’s father died of unknown causes in 2023, leaving her in the care of her mother. Naomi is currently in third grade at a local primary school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School. Both Naomi and her mother are in good health.
Naomi lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
