Location: Ndola, Zambia

Shalom’s father died of pneumonia in 2022, leaving Shalom and her four siblings in the sole care of their mother. Thankfully, Shalom is a healthy girl and has been able to remain in school. She is currently in fifth grade at a local primary school, and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where she will receive a quality Christian education at one of our partner schools.

Shalom lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
