Mirriam’s father died of unknown causes in 2023, leaving her in the care of her mother. Mirriam is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School. Both Mirriam and her mother are in good health.
Mirriam lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
