Location: Maundo, Uganda

Margaret’s father was tragically killed in a motor accident in 2016. Sadly, her mother later remarried and abandoned her and her sister. They are in the care of their grandmother, who struggles to provide for them as a peasant farmer. Thankfully, Margaret is a healthy girl and has been able to remain in school. She is currently in first grade.

Margaret lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
