Lisa’s father tragically drowned in 2020, leaving her and her 2 brothers in the sole care of their mother. Thankfully, everyone is in good healthy and Lisa has been able to remain in school. She is currently in second grade, and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School.

Lisa lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
