Location: Maundo, Uganda

Leonard’s father was tragically killed when his boat capsized. His mother only generates a small amount of income through farming and had to move in with her parents along with Leonard and his 5 siblings. Thankfully, Leonard has been able to remain and is performing well in third grade at a local primary school. He is a healthy, joyful boy in spite of his circumstances.

Leonard lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
