Lameck’s father died of variceal bleeding just this past February. This left him in the sole care of his mother, who has no source of income and struggles to provide for him. Thankfully, Lameck is a healthy boy. He has not yet begun school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where he will receive a quality Christian education at one of our partner schools.

Lameck lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
