Rosemary’s father died of complications related to anemia in 2024. This left her in the sole care of her mother who only generates a small amount of income by selling cassava at the side of the road. Thankfully, Rosemary is a healthy girl and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to begin preschool at Lighthouse Christian School where she will receive a quality Christian education at a school that we partner with.

Rosemary lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
