While James’s father is still living, he is not able to care for the family due to mental illness, and his mother has no source of income and struggles to provide for James and his 2 siblings. Thankfully, James is a healthy boy and has been able to remain in school in spite of financial challenges. He is currently in 3rd grade at a local primary school.

James lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
