Location: Kiburara, Uganda

Isaac’s father died of natural causes when Isaac was only 2 years old. This left his mother to take on the full responsibility of caring for the family, which is a struggle due to lack of consistent income. Thankfully, Isaac is still able to attend a local community school and is enrolled in fifth grade. Isaac has difficulty hearing, but is otherwise a healthy boy.

Isaac lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda.  Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area.  Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
