Hellon’s father was tragically killed in a car accident, leaving his mother as the sole provider for the family. His mother is struggling to provide for him without a job or enough land for farming. Thankfully, Hellon is a healthy boy and he has been able to begin preschool.
Hellon lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
