Gloria A.

Location: Maundo, Uganda

Gloria’s father fell off of a motorbike in 2023 and later died from his injuries. This left her and her 5 siblings in the sole care of their mother who only generates a small income through farming. Thankfully, Gloria has been able to remain in school and is currently performing well in third grade at a local primary school. She is a healthy, joyful girl in spite of her circumstances.

Gloria lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
