Faith’s father died by poisoning in 2022, leaving her and her twin sister in the sole care of their mother, who has no source of income and no land for cultivation. Thankfully, Faith is a healthy girl, and she has been able to begin preschool in spite of their circumstances.
Faith lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
