Esther’s father died of unknown causes in 2018 and sadly, her mother also died shortly after that. This left Esther in the care of her aunt who has not been able to afford to send her to school. Thankfully, Esther is a healthy girl and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where she will receive a quality, Christian education at one of our partner schools.
Esther lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
