Dominic’s father died of Hepatitis B in 2024. His mother subsequently moved to live with her parents, leaving Dominic and his 3 siblings in the care of their grandfather who is a peasant farmer. Thankfully, Dominic s a healthy boy and he has been able to remain in school in spite of their circumstances. He is currently in second grade at a local primary school.

Dominic lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda. Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
