Blessing’s father died of heart failure just this past January. This left Blessing in the care of her mother and sister. Thankfully, Blessing is a healthy girl and she has been able to remain in school. She is currently in 5th grade at a local primary school and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where she will receive a quality Christian education at a school that we partner with.

Blessing lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
