Location: Maundo, Uganda

Anna’s father was tragically killed in a motorbike accident. Her mother was not able to take care of Anna and her 4 siblings and moved back to her parent’s home. The children are now in the care of their paternal grandparents. Thankfully, Anna has been able to remain in school and is currently performing well in fourth grade at a local primary school. She is a healthy, joyful girl in spite of her circumstances.

Anna lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
