Andrew’s father died of unknown causes in 2023, leaving him in the care of his mother. Andrew is currently in fourth grade at a local primary school, and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School. Both Andrew and his mother are in good health.
Andrew lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
