Location: Ndola, Zambia

 

Alice’s father died of alcohol poisoning in 2023, leaving her in the sole care of her mother. She is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School. Thankfully, both Alice and her mother are in good health.

Alice lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
