Ainisha lost her father to malaria in 2024. Sadly, her mother later remarried and abandoned her, and she is now in the care of her aunt. Thankfully, Ainisha is a healthy girl, and she has been able to remain in school in spite of her circumstances. She is currently in first grade at a local primary school.
Ainisha lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
