Hope Community: Building a Foundation for the FutureUganda+Education+Western Uganda Primary School Doug Hayes
Primus Tusiime is a Sponsorship Program graduate, a Mapalo Scholarship awardee, and a college graduate with a degree in Social Work. Today, he is investing the skills he learned through Covenant Mercies into his community by serving as a Sponsorship Program caseworker. Here is what Primus had to say about our future Hope Community Primary School in Western Uganda:
“As a beneficiary of the Sponsorship Program, I am so thankful to God that [Covenant Mercies] is building a primary school in our area. This school promises a fundamental change in the education of the children of Kiburara. A quality Christian education will provide the students the proper tools for learning to prepare them well for higher education, and enable them to fulfill their dreams.
This primary school is a foundation for our future as a community… my message to our donors is that we are thankful for them and for what they are doing; they are growing the kingdom of God here in Kiburara… the future generation is being impacted by their giving, so thank you very much!”
From all the staff and partners of Covenant Mercies, thank you to our donors who have invested in the education of Kiburara children through Hope Community Primary School!
Covenant Mercies is raising $50,000 in order to build a second classroom building for Hope Community Primary School. To learn more about the school, click here.
