Lillian’s parents were separated, and the children were in the care of their father when he tragically took his life this past September. They are now in the care of their grandfather as their mother cannot be found. Thankfully, Lillian is a healthy girl, and she has been able to begin preschool.
Lillian lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
