Eric’s father was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident in 2022. Sadly, his mother later abandoned him and his three siblings, leaving them in the care of their elderly grandmother. She is unable to provide for them, and they rely on a neighbor for food. Thankfully, Eric is a healthy boy, and he has been able to remain in school. He is currently in second grade at a local primary school.
Eric lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
