Precious’s father died of natural causes in December 2023. Since her parents had divorced before her father died, Precious now lives with her grandmother. She is in good health, but she is not in school yet. Sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School, where she will receive a quality, Christian education.
Precious lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
