Dorothy’s father was tragically murdered in 2021. This left her in the sole care of her mother who struggles to provide for her. Thankfully, Dorothy has been able to remain in school in spite of their financial circumstances. She is currently in first grade at a local primary school.
Dorothy lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda. Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
