Hope Community opens new school library
Uganda+Education+Hope Community Primary School Doug HayesProviding a robust, Christ-centered education to our sponsored children is an integral part of our intervention in their lives. To that end, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve recently opened a brand new library on the campus of Hope Community Primary School in Kiburara, Uganda, enhancing the educational experience for the young students in our Sponsorship Program.
The Hope Community students, teachers, and other local stakeholders are delighted about this addition to the school. The library features tables for small group phonics lessons, and a dedicated area for storytelling with comfortable floor cushions for the younger children. It also includes resources specifically for the teaching staff, as well as space for the teachers to collaborate with one another when school is not in session. We are aware of no other facility like it in this entire region of Uganda.
We thank God for providing this valuable resource to our sponsored children in Kiburara, and we’re thankful to our supporters for being instruments of His generosity. Please join us in praying that the new library will help equip students to develop the gifts that God has given them and build a strong foundation for their future.
