Victoria lost her father to complications related to COVID-19 in 2021. This left her in the sole care of her mother, who struggles to provide for her. Thankfully, Victoria has been able to begin preschool in spite of financial challenges. She is a bright, healthy girl.
Victoria lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
