Tesfa’s mother died in childbirth and while his father is still alive, he is disabled and lives in a rural area. As a result, Tesfa is being raised by his aunt who lives in Addis Ababa. He is a bright, healthy boy and thankfully he has been able to remain in school in spite of his circumstances. He is currently in third grade at a local primary school.
Tesfa lives in the capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. Amharic is the main language spoken in this area.
