Location: Maundo, Uganda

Samuel’s father died in 2020 after having surgery for an enlarged liver. This left him and his 4 siblings in the sole care of their mother, who struggles to provide for them. Thankfully, Samuel has been able to remain in school in spite of financial challenges. He is currently in the third grade at a local primary school. He is a healthy, joyful boy.

Samuel lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
