Roosevelt’s father abandoned his mother when she was pregnant with him and, sadly, his mother later abandoned him. He has been taken in by a local family. Roosevelt has been able to remain in school, but he is only in 1st grade. Sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll in at GraceLife Academy where he will receive a quality Christian education at a school that we partner with. Thankfully, Roosevelt has been blessed with good health.
Roosevelt lives in a community just outside of Monrovia, Liberia. English is the main language spoken in this region, which is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, GraceLife Academy.
