Rejoice’s father abandoned her mother when she was 4 months pregnant. Rejoice is now in the sole care of her mother, who only generates a small amount of income by braiding hair. Thankfully Rejoice is a healthy girl and has been able to enroll in third grade at GraceLife Academy where she is receiving a quality Christian education at a school that we partner with.

Rejoice lives in a community just outside of Monrovia, Liberia. English is the main language spoken in this region, which is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, GraceLife Academy.
