Micheal’s father died of alcohol poisoning in 2023, leaving him in the sole care of his mother. He is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School. Both Micheal and his mother are in good health.
Micheal lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
