Location: Maundo, Uganda

Martha’s father died in 2016 due to complications related to hypoglycemia. Her mother has a business in an area away from the family compound and Martha and her 2 sisters are cared for there by their grandfather. Thankfully, Martha has been able to remain in school in spite of financial challenges. She is currently performing well in seventh grade at a local primary school. She is a healthy girl, which is a blessing.

Martha lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
