Kezia’s father died of typhoid fever in 2022, leaving her and her twin sister in the sole care of their mother. Thankfully, both Kezia and her mother are in good health. Kezia is not yet in school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School.
Kezia lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
