Kelly lost his father to HIV/AIDS in 2019. This left him in the sole care of his mother, who has no source of income. Thankfully, Kelly is a healthy boy and is not HIV/AIDS positive. He has not yet begun school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable him to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School where he will receive a quality Christian education.

Kelly lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
