John Paul’s father was tragically murdered in 2017. This left him and his 5 siblings in the sole care of their mother who struggles to provide for them. Thankfully, John Paul is a healthy boy and he has been able to remain in school. He is currently in 1st grade at a local primary school.
John Paul lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda. Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area. Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
