Location: Maundo, Uganda

 

Jacob’s father suffered from stomach issues and died in 2019. This left him and his five siblings in the sole care of their mother, who has not consistently been a part of their lives. As a result, they are cared for by their grandmother. Thankfully, Jacob is a healthy boy and has been able to enroll in preschool at a local community school.

Jacob lives in a village near Nagongera, Uganda.  Japadhola is the main language spoken in this area.
