Fredrick’s father was tragically killed in 2021. This left him and his 8 siblings in the sole care of their mother who does not own a house and struggles to pay rent. Thankfully, Fredrick is a healthy boy and he has been able to remain in school in spite of financial challenges. He is currently in preschool at a local primary school.

Fredrick lives in a village near Kiburara, Uganda.  Runyankore and Rukiga are the main languages spoken in this area.  Kiburara is also home to Hope Community School, established by Covenant Mercies in 2020.
