Chris’s father abandoned her mother when she was pregnant. Chris is now in the sole care of her mother, who struggles to provide for her. Chris has not yet begun school, but sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will allow her to enroll at Grace Life Academy. Thankfully, Chris has been blessed with good health.

Chris lives in a community just outside of Monrovia, Liberia. English is the main language spoken in this region, which is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, GraceLife Academy.
