Catherine’s father died of unknown causes, leaving her in the sole care of her mother. Catherine is currently in third grade at a local primary school, and sponsorship with Covenant Mercies will enable her to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School. She and her mother are in good health.
Faith lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School. Â
