Annie’s father suffered from a mental illness and died in 2016. This left her in the sole care of her mother. Thankfully, Annie is a healthy child and will be able to enroll at Lighthouse Christian School with the help of Covenant Mercies.
Annie lives in a village near Ndola, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Bemba is the main language spoken in this area. Ndola is also home to Covenant Mercies’ partner school, Lighthouse Christian School.
